NY Legal — Registration Numbers (verified June 2026)
Plain vertical BLOCK letters (no script/italic), at least 3" tall, one solid color contrasting sharply with the hull (legible 100 ft daylight), both sides of the bow, left to right, with a space or hyphen between groups (e.g., NY 1234 AB). Validation decal in line with, and 3" toward the stern of, the number — both sides. Boat names and hailing ports CAN use script and decorative fonts.
