Elevator Disconnect & Machine ID Marking Kit — OSHA / Project
Elevator, lift, escalator and moving-walk disconnect identification manufactured from contractor/engineer supplied project data.
What $195 covers: a starting package of up to 10 unique IDs, including schedule/spreadsheet handling and one project proof. Larger projects are quoted from your approved proof at volume pricing — 25–49 IDs $315 · 50–99 $475 · 100–249 $725 · 250+ $1,450. Reflective, metallic and second-color options are quoted on top.
Federal OSHA identification requirements
- 29 CFR 1910.306(c)(6)(i): where more than one driving machine is in a machine room, the disconnecting means are numbered to correspond to the identifying number of the driving machine controlled.
- 29 CFR 1910.306(c)(6)(ii): the disconnecting means has a sign identifying the location of the supply-side overcurrent protective device.
- 29 CFR 1910.306(c)(8): where multiple disconnects are used and controller parts remain energized from another source, a clearly legible warning sign is mounted on or next to the disconnecting means with the rule's prescribed warning wording.
JZAC can also manufacture project-specific controller, machine, disconnect and correction IDs. Where a jurisdiction/project using the 2026 NEC requires available-fault-current/date field marking, those values must be supplied by qualified project personnel; JZAC never calculates fault current.
We never invent disconnect numbers, machine IDs, OCPD locations, voltages, feeder information, fault-current values or calculation dates.
