2026 NEC context: Section 625.43 contains new disconnect and emergency-shutoff provisions for EVSE/WPTE, including identification requirements. Those provisions are edition- and jurisdiction-dependent, and 625.43 has also been the subject of a 2026 NFPA Tentative Interim Amendment process. JZAC therefore requires the electrician/AHJ/project documents to confirm the exact current wording and applicability before a code-specific emergency marking is cut.
For Washington projects, the 2026 NEC does not replace the currently adopted 2023 NEC until December 31, 2026 under the current state adoption rule.
We do not invent charger IDs, disconnect locations, circuit numbers, voltage, amperage or ratings.
